if so what chance do they have...thanks

I lean to them being more focused then NE as NE has been winning for so long they may be comfortable with themelves as evidence in there almost losee to the jets last week

you can't get much more focused than 21 straight wins. Here's the thing with NE. They don't have great players. On paper there are several teams that should be better than them. The reason they always win is because they are so focused and they play as a team. Something that doesn't happen much these days. Tom Brady isn't the best QB, Corey Dillion isn't the best RB. There are certainly many better WR's than any the Pats have. These guys are focused week in and week out and I'm not betting against them until that starts to change.

Go against them if you want. I just don't see how you can bet against a team that has won 21 straight games. They are obviously doing something right.

My theory is this. Yes they will lose sometime. But Why try and guess when that will be. Insted ride their winning streak out until they lose. If you got a very favorable line last week you won if you bet against them. Most people pushed. So in the last 21 games they are either 17-2-2 or 17-1-3 ATS. Why would you want to bet against that. Their covering the spread 90% of the time in the last year and a half.

The thing about New England is the players are 100% sold on what the coaches say or do and have acquired that aura of invincibility. After getting out of jail against an average Dallas team, do the Steeler players believe. The only thing that is stopping me betting is New England appears to have a weakness against the run ( something the Steelers are doing well at the moment) and stretching back to last year, a conservative game-plan which just does enough without taking chances. Last Weeks game was a prime example, winning by 6 and not covering when the stats say it should have been a comfortable win.

Two major problems for the Steelers:

First, their rookie QB has been coasting since he hasn't faced a complex blitzing scheme like the one he'll see today. He's in big trouble.

Second, the Patriots should be able to move the ball at will thru the air vs. that Steeler pass D. :toothless

I think the thing people forget in the NFL is that the talent level between the very best teams and the worst teams is not big. Depending on breaks, the officials and the motivation of the teams on any given week any team has a chance against any other team.

Of course the Steelers have a shot. As a whole however they have run up their impressive record against lower level teams and barring a miracle break would have lost to the Cowboys.

On paper this looks like one of those games where a lot of people will line up behind a solid team with a good record as a home dog versus a better team coming off an emotional division win.

New England has the better team and Pittsburgh has not proven itself against any upper echelon teams to date. New England should win and cover but its certainly no sure thing.

I only know one thing, I've ridden the Pats toi the tune of something like 18-5 over the last two years - I see no good reason to jump off of the bandwagon now!

People still don't realize how good the Patriots are. They have to take everybodys best shot every week they get no breaks in the schedule even from bad teams.Playing the Pats is everyone elses Super bowl.

If they can win the next two weeks on the road. They should be considererd the best team of all time.
